Sir, - I refer to the report on medical rehabilitation by the National Rehabilitation Board (The Irish Times, October 28th).
It is widely recognised that rehabilitation places fall short of the demand. In response to this fact, the Eastern Health Board recently opened a new stroke rehabilitation unit at Baggot Street Community Hospital. It is a centre-based, out-patient facility in a community setting. It can provide services to people who have had strokes and their families, and is open to both 1865-year-olds and the over 65s. - Yours, etc.,
