Sir, - Among the NRA's plans for road development are two motorways, one from Cork to Dublin, the other from Waterford. Both these motorways eventually lead to the Red Cow roundabout, a fine testament to roan planning failure and shortsightedness.
New motorways will inevitably attract more traffic to this monument of misery. Perhaps aCabinet meeting to discuss the National Development Plan could be held in the centre of the roundabout, this might help focus minds a little. - Yours, etc.,
