Madam, - I was delighted that Séamas de Barra (October 14th) took the trouble to check that Does Morality Change? was still on the bookshelves, and even more delighted to discover that it was. I would heartily recommend it to him as a wonderful book displaying wisdom, gentleness, understanding, respect for all God's creation, wide knowledge, courage and a deep and abiding faith in God - curiously enough, all the gifts we would normally associate with the Holy Spirit.
Can anything be more orthodox than that? - Yours, etc.,
