Madam, - V. O'Shea of Sandymount, Dublin 4 (June 13th) writes that she or he applauds the city councillors for being on the side of the public in relation to the development of Ballsbridge. I guess this is the public that live in the area, and not the public that is forced to commute for hours each day from the far arms of the commuter belt due to the lack of imagination by the same city councillors which stops people living in their city in high-density, well-developed urban centres like city-dwellers in the rest of the world.
