Sir, - Nora Bennis (April 8th) calls on the IFPA to publish its submission to the Expert Advisory Group on Relationships and Sexuality Education, so that the Irish people can "decide which of us is right about the source of RSE". Had Nora Bennis ever requested a copy of our submission it would have been supplied to her. Her plea in your columns for publication at this stage is clearly an acknowledgement that Ms Bennis has absolutely no idea what our submission says.

I am certain that if the document corresponded to her description of it, and if she had a copy, it would have been widely circulated in support of her cause. She has not asked for a copy and does not know its contents. This impediment has never prevented Ms Bennis from purporting to tell the Irish people what it contains and not surprisingly she has been wrong on all counts.

Clearly Ms Bennis is not one to let the facts, or lack of them, get in the way of her tortuously constructed arguments.

Anyone wishing to receive a copy of the IFPA's submission should send an A4 self-addressed envelope stamped to the value of 70p, together with £1 to cover photocopying costs. - Yours, etc.,
