Sir, - "Unborn human life is the key rights issue facing Western society today", screams your headline (August 26th). I should have thought that a much more important key rights issue would be what we do with human life once it's born.
Forcing children to beg on O'Connell Bridge, abusing them sexually, depriving them of a stable family, restricting their diet, health and education through poverty, pushing drugs on them . . . Let's get born human life a bit more right before we start on the unborn. - Yours, etc.,
