Sir, - So now we have it. Despite repeated warnings from The European Central Bank and the ESRI, Charlie McCreevy told the people to "Spend, spend, spend". As a result, inflation is rampant and our economy, successfully nurtured by successive governments, is in grave danger.
This is beyond party politics. It is much too serious. This stubborn man is now, politically, the most dangerous person in Ireland.
