Sir, - What a pleasant surprise to find those hideous ramps on Mount Pleasant Avenue, Dublin 6 replaced recently by a delightfully smooth tarmac surface! Does this herald the end of the Ramp Age, as foretold in an Irish Times letter of February 8th?
