Madam, - Every time I drive through the Phoenix Park I am horrified that there is no pedestrian crossing, no warning light and no written warning road sign at the entrance to Dublin Zoo. Surely this is an accident waiting to happen? The approaching roads have cars and buses parked on both sides stretching nearly as far as Áras an Uachtaráin and it would be so easy for excited children to dart across the road in-between these parked vehicles.
I implore the powers-that-be to rectify the situation immediately before the start of the busy summer season. - Yours, etc,
