A chara, Having endeavoured to find out from some local authorities and officials in the Department of the Environment the identity and whereabouts of those who are foisting bad grammar and bizarre Irish forms of place names on new signs erected on street corners, and on directional signposts at roadsides around the country, I appeal to any readers who have any clues as to whom is responsible for this infuriating faux pas, to identify themselves before gobbledegook gains further credence and respectability.
