Madam, - Edmund Haughey (May 6th) finds it "annoying" when viewers' comments are displayed along the bottom of the TV screen during chat shows.
Far from being annoyed, I find the rolling caption is a benefit precisely because, as Mr Haughey says, it "draws attention away from the studio discussion", which is usually boring.
