Sir, - In your issue of Friday, November 10th, you quote a correction from Mr Peter de Rosa to his published letter of November 9th.
In his correction, as printed by you, Mr de Rosa states: "I am among an ever growing number of practising, but non-church-going Catholics". As a former participant in Holy Orders, Mr de Rosa must surely know that there cannot be partial or pick-and-choose loyalty to the Magisterium. It is all or nothing.
Similarly, there are no such groups as Roman Catholic lesbians and homosexuals, as such practices are considered deviant by the Church.
Again, faith in the Magisterium demands all or nothing. - Yours, etc.,
