Madam, - I wonder how many of the "Charity-begins-at-home" moaners give to people in want. If insufficient aid is given to the needy, where is the logic in categorising some of them as undeserving because of their origin? Rather, should we not try to help all equally?
It is absurd to say a Roma child is less deserving than, say, an Irish Traveller child, unless the concept of charity itself is radically altered. - Yours, etc,
