A Chara, - Being from Co. Monaghan, I am well used to the fact that hardly else in Ireland seems to know anything about the county. This apathy and ignorance is particularly prevalent in the current Government. I was interested to read in Thursday's edition that Monaghan has now been left out of the first phase of the revised decentralisation scheme.
