Madam, - Given the momentous events of the past week, surely the time is right to reopen the debate on granting sovereignty and independence to the "Six Counties".
The success of little old Montenegro in this regard is an appropriate example of how this can be achieved peacefully, albeit after a long and bitter struggle.
I believe few obstacles now remain to be overcome in attaining such status for Munster too.
The only contentious issue would be the location of the offices of the Oireachtas. Could I suggest the "real capital" of Cork with Ronan O'Gara as taoiseach and Paul O'Connell as president? - Yours, etc,
