SUSANNA CAPRARA,
Sir, - Last Wednesday night about 100 people gathered outside the British Embassy in Ballsbridge, pickets at hand, to hold a peaceful protest against the Sellafield nuclear plant.
They stood there in pouring rain, enduring the blank stares of most passers-by, but also exulting at the support of the few who stopped, to assert the right to a healthy life in a healthy environment.
The event was not granted a single line on any newspaper next morning, nor any TV news coverage.
