Sir, - Your motoring supplement (November 27th), says that SIMI wants the Government to reduce motor tax so that they can sell even more cars than in this their bumper year. The reason given is revenue buoyancy.
The same buoyancy has meant that car dealers are making 30-40 per cent more than usual. So can we expect them to reduce their prices by similar amounts? - Yours, etc.,
