There is one frequent corruption which he might well have included in his list, namely, the substitution of the word "gender" for the word "sex".
Before the murder of King Duncan in Shakespeare's play, Lady Macbeth implores the gods to fill her with the direst cruelty. "Unsex me here, ye gods." she prays. She certainly does not say, "Ungender me here, ye gods." - Yours, etc.,
