Sir, - Deirdre Healy, communications manager of the Irish Blood Transfusions Service, claims that all blood donors are notified as a matter of course when they are next eligible to give blood and/or of forthcoming visits of the mobile unit to their locality (January 18th). After several donations, I have yet to receive any of this information.
People of my age will be supplying the country's hospitals into the future (I am 21). Surely, with such an outcry for blood donors, the IBTS should keep us better informed. - Yours, etc.,
