PROF DENIS G. GILL,
Sir, - At last a positive feature on immunisation! Your superb, smiling portrait of photogenic Clodagh Carroll receiving her MMR says it all. Immunisation is good for children. Indeed, immunisation is probably the single best health intervention a doctor/nurse can make for children. I have no doubt that, given the information, children would vote for vaccination. Measles and its allied illnesses all induce misery.
Thanks to Clodagh for showing that MMR can be VVG (very very good). - Yours, etc.,
PROF DENIS G. GILL, Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin 2.
