Sir, Travelling past the Lamb Doyle's on the narrow mountain road connecting Tallaght and Leopardstown at 7.45, I met a slow loader moving citywards, carrying earth moving machinery. Behind it stretched a procession of motorists for about half a mile. They and those joining them had one thing in common - all would be late for work!
Surely the movement of these slow, heavy loads could be restricted, other than on motorways, to night travel or as a minimum outside peak travel times?
Yours etc.,
Kilgobbin Lawn.
