Sir, – I believe that your television listings should now also come with a spoiler alert. It would appear that more information is being supplied about programme content, particularly in the case of soap operas. I have no desire to read a synopsis of what is to occur on Coronation Street tonight and would much rather a one-line overview. This would tease the viewer and nicely whet the appetite without giving the game away. May I suggest that less is more. – Yours, etc,
