Madam, - Conor Woods (October 24th) claims that as a chef he could not afford to take out an SSIA account.
I find this difficult to believe, given the price one must pay for dining out in this country - €30.00 per person for average fare, compared with the minimum amount requires to open an SSIA, €12.50 a month.
So as he objects to his tax lining my pockets, I equally object to my taxed income filling the stores in his kitchen. - Yours, etc.,
