Madam, – You report on a complaint regarding a child’s top carrying the slogan “Your going to fast in your little car” (sic) in Dunnes Stores (Home News, November 4th).

Was the second grammatical error a clever subversive social commentary about the impending budgetary cutbacks, aimed to whet the appetites of the next (generation’s? generations? generations’) interest in politics? Or is this the evidence required to support the lobby against cut backs in education? – Yours, etc,
