Sir, I am glad to see that our incomparable columnist, Kevin Ayers, carried a photograph of the late Herr Hitler in your issue of January 16th. He also referred to the idiocy of supposed gender equality and I am in full agreement on his views on that subject which is diverting the energies of some females away from their proper role. Had the Creator intended equality he would have so ordained He did not so there is not and those females who pursue those erroneous beliefs are over taxing the level of brain power accorded to them.
The humiliation of the treaty of Versailles infuriated a great nation and a great people and hastened the path to power of Adolf Hitler whose Third Reich, under a different guise, is now dominating Europe. Hitler and his government re built Germany and returned to a great nation and a great people their pride and their dignity. To the victors go the spoils and the most influential of those spoils is the propaganda weapon, particularly when used by those long experienced in cinema. After the war, Germany was vilified as the oppressor, the conqueror, the ogre whilst the Anglo American alliance was painted as the virtuous shining knight whose hands had not been sullied by Dieppe or Caen or Dresden or Hiroshima or the can non fodder Sepoys or the great Irish Famine or Vietnam.
To the victors go the spoils and it has always been so in warfare. Consequently we shall never know for certain the accuracy or otherwise of war crimes and war trials. But we do know that Germany had compiled a list of war criminals of military and political figures from the Anglo American Alliance of 1941 1945.
