Sir, - How many more column inches of your sports pages are going to be given over to a sport that has half-fit middleclass men running around chasing a ball watched people who pay inflated prices for the privilege? I refer, of course, to the politically powerful GAA.
Ireland has no chance of Olympic champions when the GAA is openly referred to as the main sport in Ireland. It is up to the media to show the children of Ireland that many more sports exist outside their village or county. - Yours, etc.,
