Sir, – I see that stock photo of those aged woman’s hands, used consistently in the recent past alongside articles on ageing, has been resurrected again (November 15th). Is it not time to ring the changes with something less ageist and sexist, something gender neutral and more uplifting, such as an image of a walking frame or a wreath of Arum lilies? – Yours, etc,
