Sir, There is good news on the Dunnes Stores front. They are not serious about Sunday trading. They are not implementing it fully.
If you return goods that are defective on a Sunday you will not get a refund on that day. That was my experience in Letterkenny on Sunday, April 21st last. They said "come back on Monday."
A glimmer of hope that their heart is not in this Sabbath commerce? What next? Not allow their carparks to be used on a Sunday? Provide private traffic wardens instead to guide anti trading protesters away? Provide boy scouts to distribute sweets to entice people to come in and shop?
