Taoiseach and a ‘bloodless coup’

Sir, – I note that Enda Kenny used the occasion of the European People's Party congress in Madrid to share his insights on what he described as a "bloodless coup" that may have posed a threat to our national security ("Troika's arrival was a 'bloodless coup', says Kenny", October 23rd). I think it is extraordinary that the Taoiseach chose not share this insight at home in Ireland in the first instance. – Yours, etc,
