Sir, - Bertie Ahern is absolutely right to reject the notion of Sinn Fein in government before it "resolves" its relationship with the IRA and IRA decommissioning. But for unionists to take the same view is clearly preposterous. How dare they assume that they have the same rights as us nationalists?
With the removal of Articles 2 and 3 I was seriously worried that we nationalists were discarding our traditional double-think regarding unionists. But I can relax. Our tribal blinkers are still firmly in place. - Yours, etc.,
