Sir, - What a lovely photograph (February 9th) of the Taoiseach and the Minister for Finance gambling away their last few punts.
No doubt they will expect Michael Noonan to refund their stakes after the election, when he is reimbursing the Eircom gamblers! Seriously, did either of them not consider that a donation to charity might have provided a more morally correct and inspiring photo opportunity from our two most senior politicians?
