Sir, - I challenge any Government Minister to justify Vehicle Registration Tax in a single European market. This tax is treating Irish people as second-class European citizens. It is incompatible with transparent prices on motor cars throughout the 12 EU countries.
How can a Government ask Irish citizens to be good Europeans and vote "yes" to "Nice" when it imposes this anti-competitive, anti-single-market, anti-European tax on Irish EU citizens?. - Yours, etc.,
