Sir, - How interesting that with all the recent recollection of Bloody Sunday - the daily inquiry hearings, the two TV dramatisations and their surrounding controversy - there was barely a reference, by contrast, to the 10th anniversary on January 24th of the Teebane Massacre, in which eight workmen were killed by an IRA landmine.
At the time, it was considered quite a momentous event, but it seems that, in the context of Northern Ireland, certain events and victims are doomed to be forgotten.
