Sir, - Nuclear power stations in Britain now pose an even bigger threat to Irish citizens. In the past we've had to contend with negligence (Windscale, 1957) and now, in the wake of recent terrorist atrocities we have the added fear of sabotage. Considering Ireland's close proximity to enormous processing plants like THORP in the UK, the results of nuclear fallout would be devastating for Ireland. It is now time for the British government to decommission, by divesting themselves of this outdated and dangerous source of energy. - Yours, etc.,
