Sir, - With reference to Lorna Siggins's article on April 3rd, I wish to state that I did not skipper Asgard until 1969. She may have got the information from a misprint in Sea Breezes (March, 1964) under a photo of Asgard.

I quote: "The Eric Defence Department yacht Asgard will be in commission this summer."
