Sir, - How patronising the board of Trinity is in refusing to "lend" the Book of Kells to the people of Kells for the forthcoming opening of the new heritage centre. Trinity have again proved themselves a pompous and pedantic lot. To cite the protection of the book is ludicrous, given the reckless decision to fly it to Australia.
