Sir, – I’ve been 13 years with my current car insurers. I have been driving for 25 years with no claims. Despite this, my insurance has almost doubled in the past four years from €470 to €886. I’ve been offered the same insurance cover this week by two rival companies for almost half of my current renewal quote.
