Sir, – In all the talk of the Northern Ireland protocol, there is very little mention that the majority in Northern Ireland voted to remain in the European Union.
The DUP has chosen to ignore this fact, in the same way that it disregarded the fact that most people supported same-sex marriage and a woman’s right to choose.
It left it to Britain to implement these human rights, so it could say it had nothing to do with them.
How on earth can it claim to represent the people of Northern Ireland? – Yours, etc,
