Sir, - As the newly elected Chairperson of South Dublin County Council, I wish to express my serious concern about the future of the LUAS project. The Tallaght and Clondalkin areas need Luas "tomorrow" and have been waiting for a quality transport system since the DART service was introduced. The DTI is the first integrated transport system to be implemented and involved the greatest consultation process in the history of the State for any single development.
Any further reviews of this project can only be interpreted as a delaying tactic that endangers it. - Yours etc.,
