Sir, – I am inclined to agree with the argument put forward by the entertainment industry regarding allowing the restart of “gigs”. There will be 24,000 fans in Croke Park for each of the matches this Saturday and Sunday. Should this “Government test” be any different for an outdoor concert in a suitable venue? Perhaps even a concert in Croke Park itself attended by the same number of fans that are allowed to watch games should be considered? I don’t know any valid reason why not! – Yours, etc,
NIALL McLAUGHLIN,
