Sir, - I love Kevin Myers with a passion. His use of hyperbole is hilarious, his mock-heroic rants a hoot, his defence of the indefensible a gas. But when he refers to soccer as "the greatest game" (June 25th) it is simply an exaggeration too far.
Or could it possible be that for once he is being serious - that in fact he has never seen a hurling match? - Yours, etc.,
