Madam, – I note from news reports on March 31st that the ship which went aground off Connemara had been due to take away two small passenger ferries. As the ferry company involved clearly no longer has a requirement for these vessels, I assume this means that the last of the little people have now finally departed these shores. No doubt they have taken with them the last pot of gold, which was probably the only remaining hope for our ailing finances. – Yours, etc,
