Madam - I think a question needs to be asked of all concerned with selling property: what is meant by "Georgian-style"? In your Property section of last Thursday a large new house is so described and one has to wonder what criteria were used.
The pleasing and historic appearance of Georgian architecture is the result of adherence to strict rules of proportion. These are not evident in the photo of the "beautifully proportioned Georgian-style" house in question. It is difficult to be certain but the windows appear to be PVC, which would be the ultimate in non-Georgian.
This may well be a very fine modern house which many people would wish to acquire but it should not be marketed as being in Georgian style. - Yours, etc.,
