Madam, - Your report on the Cork School of Music (June 28th) states that it is "the oldest music school in Ireland or Britain".This would be wonderful if it were true. Founded in 1878, it is, in fact the oldest municipal school of music in these islands, which is both wonderful and true. - Yours, etc,
