Sir, – Are car indicators now a luxury item? As a pedestrian, I rely heavily on motorists’ use of the indicator, especially in areas where there is no zebra crossing. Why then do I find myself in near-death situations every other morning on my way to work?
Is it really all that time-consuming to indicate your intent to turn left or right? I appeal to the Irish public to take a brief moment, just between your initial decision to turn and the action itself, to indicate. – Yours, etc,
