Sir, - David Gwynn Morgan (Opinion, April 19th) praises the report of the Chief Justice: "It was thorough, convincing and decisive." Prof Morgan went on to say that those media sources which had been emitting rumours that "the report would be anodyne" owe the Chief Justice an apology.
Does Chief Justice Hamilton not owe an apology to the Irish people for just such an anodyne report on the beef tribunal? - Yours, etc.,
Gerry Glennon, Auburn Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin.
