Madam, - It was refreshing to read the articles by Marc Coleman and Paul Sweeney on Sweden's economy (Agenda, December 19th). I hope when the Swedes look at Ireland they will learn mostly what not to do. An economy is not a business and its people are not assembly operators working in a sweat shop.
Ireland is the very antithesis of Sweden's egalitarian society. You don't need much convincing of this when you see the lack of progress made with the health service under the present coalition. - Yours, etc,
