Sir, - I would like to thank all of the people in the RDS who gave of their time to people like me who came armed with the wonderful Whoseday Book for signatures. It was a marvellous opportunity to be in a room with so many creative people from modern Ireland. There was no pomp or ceremony attached to these people, nobody fussed around them. They had either cups of tea or bottles of water for the duration and at one stage I saw them sharing saucers for ashtrays. They sat from 12 noon to 6 p.m. signing books with such grace and patience and at the end of the day they still smiled. They gave of their time freely - something rare in this world of Celtic Tigers - all in aid of the Hospice Foundation. Thank you for your time and patience. - Yours, etc.,
Judy Kelly, Booterstown, Co Dublin.
