Madam - Aiden Lloyd (March 28th) dismissed the work of John O'Shea and Goal as being "essentially flawed". I recently had the privilege of witnessing the wonderful work of Goal in Uganda. In Masaka,Ugandans were building houses for the most vulnerable Ugandans with help from Goal. In Kalongo, Northern Uganda, following two decades of savage war waged by the the Lord's Liberation Army, Goal is empowering the local population to stand on its own feet again. I saw Goal develop and implement practical and sustainable programmes. Essentially flawed? I think not. - Yours, etc,
