Sir, - RTE Radio 1 has for some time been broadcasting its signal on FM about one second before the same signal on medium wave. The effect, if one has a receiver of each kind in use at the same time, is like that of an echo. It might not greatly matter were it not for time-signals. Perhaps Radio 1 would tell us which, if either, of its dyschronous time-signals is correct; and it might deign to explain and to say what it proposes to do about the matter. - Yours, etc.,
